YÖK Excellence in Academia Award, which was initiated this year, has been granted to Middle East Technical University (METU) in the category of International Collaboration. METU was awarded the title based on the “Particle Radiation Test Creation Laboratory: A CERN Collaboration” study, which was carried out in 2016 under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Bilge Demirköz.
