Bringing together our shared partners at the world’s largest gathering in international education – the ITRU Breakfast Reception at NAFSA 2015
The ITRU group members organized a breakfast reception for common university partners on May 27th, 2015 at the Marriot Hotel in Boston as part of their participation and representation of Turkish Higher Education excellence in NAFSA's 67th Annual Conference and Expo, “New Horizons in International Education”.
The NAFSA Annual Conference is the world's largest gathering of professionals in international education with 10,000 attendees from more than 100 countries. The conference offers a wide array of learning and networking opportunities for international educators, and features more than 200 sessions and workshops focusing on the most crucial topics in international education and exchange and global learning.
The reception was a great opportunity for ITRU members and over 70 shared partner university representatives from the US, Europe, Asia and other regions to network and learn more about Turkey’s research strengths, R&D areas at each of the member universities and enjoy a fresh and healthy Mediterranean breakfast!
The ITRU group would like to make these type of activities a tradition at the most prestigious international education gatherings to provide esteemed partner universities updates on opportunities for collaboration with Turkey and also build Turkey’s positioning as an emerging international education and research hub.
There was also a very well attended “Study in Turkey” pavillion at the Expo that hosted hundreds of visitors and enabled over 20 Turkish universities to meet with current and potential educational partners.
